This policy explains what information [Company legal name] ("Tellkind", "we") collects when you use our website and service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Tellkind helps local businesses reply to customer reviews and messages.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, business name, city and time zone.
- Information from Google: when you connect your Google Business Profile, we receive your business locations, profile details (such as hours, phone and address) and reviews, including reviewer display names and review text, and we can post and edit your replies.
- Information from Meta and messaging providers: if you connect WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook through a provider, we receive the messages customers send to your business and the details needed to reply.
- Content you give us: your business description, policies, sample replies, rules and documents you add to train replies.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor ([Paddle/Stripe]). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: basic logs and analytics about how the service is used, to keep it secure and improve it.
How we use information
- To provide the service: read your reviews and messages, write suggested replies, apply your rules, publish replies you approve or allow, send you alerts and reports.
- To bill you, provide support, keep the service secure and comply with the law.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Tellkind's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Business Profile data only to show you your reviews and profile, write and publish replies for your business, and alert you about changes. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and people at Tellkind read it only with your permission, for security reasons, or when the law requires.
Artificial intelligence
To write replies, we send the review or message and your business settings to our AI provider ([Anthropic, PBC]) under an agreement that does not allow it to use your data to train its models. You control which replies are published automatically and which need your approval.
Who we share information with
Only with service providers that help us run Tellkind, under contracts that protect your data: hosting ([provider]), database and authentication, email delivery ([Brevo]), payments ([Paddle/Stripe]), AI ([Anthropic]), and the messaging provider you choose. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Security and retention
Access tokens and API keys are stored encrypted. We keep your data while your account is active. When you cancel or disconnect a platform, we delete the related tokens right away and delete your account data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices and rights
- You can disconnect Google, Meta or any provider at any time in Tellkind, or in your Google Account under Third-party apps with account access.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by writing to [privacy@yourdomain.com]. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete and correct personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Children
Tellkind is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
